Le Millennia Supermart under the brand name of “Needs Supermarket” was established in the year 2000. The concept of Retail Marketing, though was not new in India, but in DLF Gurgaon, Needs were the pioneers. Needs was established when all the surrounding areas were still under development and the occupancy in the built-up areas was very thin. It was a great challenge. Today Needs has become a landmark in itself and its name is to be reckoned with.
Within 10 years, Needs Supermarket has made remarkable progress. Today besides the first store located in Supermart I, Phase IV of DLF it has spread its wings with 17 more outlets in elite areas like Regency Park II, Laburnam, Beverly Park II, Belvedere Tower, Sujjan Vihar, Beverly Park – I, Vatika City, Sushant Estate, Carlton Estate, Princeton Estate-I, Princeton Estate-II, Trinity Towers, Gurgaon One, Central Park, Icon, Pinnacle & Aralia’s where mostly upper strata of society resides. To feed all these stores, Needs has also established a backup store (warehouse) in 500 sq mtr in Saraswati Kunj in the same vicinity.
Under the banner of Le Millennia Supermart, we also run an international cuisine bistro style restaurant “The Oak Tree” which caters for a niche clientele. In 2010 we opened “Attitude Alive!” a bar/pub, above The Oak Tree, focusing on fun and live music and in just over a year it has already seen hundreds of live performances by some of the best known bands in India.

This is the need we sought to fulfill by starting our supermarket under the banner of “Needs”. Spread over an area of 6000 sq. ft. it is an unusual shopping center in Super Mart-I. It is prominently located in the prestigious commercial complex of Phase-IV at the junction of two main roads including a 30 metre wide sector road. Its exterior and interior architectural combine the best of contemporary element of comforts and aesthetics. Fully air conditioned, fully power back up, artistically laid out this shopping center is extensive in itself.
